These desks prepare a draft Form 1040 and, when the quote includes it, a draft Form 1065, 1120-S, or 1120. This text is a draft for attorney review and is not legal advice.

The year you can file now is 2025, for late and extension filers. Tax year 2026 opens when the IRS filing season opens, around late January 2027. The refund meter uses the calculator for the year on the return. It is an estimate, not a filed return and not a guarantee.

We prepare your return and a signed packet. The packet says ready to file and is not submitted to the IRS. E-file opens when an IRS e-file partner is connected. We will email you at the address on the account. Paying a plan or signing does not mean the IRS has the return.

A basic federal W-2 return is $59.99. Every add-on on the approved price sheet is itemized on the quote you see before you pay. A state return is $19.99 and is a draft, not a transmission. Bookkeeping is $29.99 per month for up to 100 transactions. Spanish and French are included. You pay only when you are ready to file. A card is charged only when checkout is connected. Pay-from-refund is a $29.99 target and is not collected until a bank partner is connected. We do not advance the refund.

You are responsible for the numbers you confirm. A figure from a photo does not land on the return until you accept it. The assistant explains the calculator. It does not invent a dollar amount.
